ROX utilities and wrappers

ROX - RISC OS on X.

Here are a small collection of utilities and applets for the ROX-Filer

• Utilities (including applets)
• Wrappers
• Libraries
• Patches
• Binaries for ARM Linux
• Various bits

All these programs require:

• GTK+ 1.2.8 or later, or 2.0 or later.

Additionally the Python programs require:

• Python
• pygtk

If you have compiled ROX-Filer and can use Archive (from the same site) then you have all those components.

Some programs have additional requirements, noted in its entry.

In all cases installation is the same: copy the application from the archive to wherever you wish to keep it, normally either ~/Apps or /usr/local/apps if you have root permission (and you trust me). It will compile itself the first time it is run (if you installed to /usr/local/apps make sure you run it to compile it).

Below is a thumbnail of my desktop, running sawfish as the window manager and using the sawfish-riscos theme. The backdrop image is re-generated every 10 minues by XPlanet. Click on it for the full size version.
